Academic Advisor, 2010 - Present

Parsons The New School for Design, New York

Oversee academic affairs and curriculum development for 350 BFA Art, Media and Technology students. Perform individual student advisement concerning internships, thesis projects, study abroad and academic performance. Serve on the Academic Status Review Committee and the Tools and Technology Committee. Facilitate enrollment and scheduling of studio courses in collaboration with Program Directors and Assistant Deans.  

Visiting Artist and Thesis Review Committee Member, 2009 - 2010

Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia

Led a graduate level studio art seminar, an undergraduate internship program and served as a review committee member for six Doctor of Fine Arts candidates. Produced and exhibited personal creative work as part of a yearlong digital media project.

Digital Media Instructor, 2008 - 2009

BAYCAT Center for Art and Technology, San Francisco

Developed and instructed a digital media art curriculum to teach Final Cut Pro, Flash, Photoshop and audio editing to students in the Bay View community of San Francisco. Edited and produced "Zoom In," a student-led video series while forming a professional partnership with community organizers at YouTube.

Graduate Secretary and Teaching Assistant, 2005 - 2008

San Francisco State University, California

Managed academic affairs for 30 MA (art history) and MFA (studio art) graduate students. Oversaw the visiting artist lecture series, year-end graduate reviews and the off-campus studio spaces. Acted as main point of contact for graduate admissions and recruitment.

Digital Media Instructor, 2005 - 2006

Oakland Asian Students Educational Services, California

Developed and instructed digital media arts curriculum including skills based learning in Flash and Photoshop for community diversity initiative in Oakland public schools. Organized final exhibition and festival to share student work with community members.
